RFR 243128 DPH Honorarium Speakers/Lecturers

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is seeking expert speakers to participate in various conferences, conventions, and other department activities. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option to renew. The department is looking for individuals or organizations with expertise in specific areas, such as nutrition, infectious disease prevention and control, and laboratory testing. The selected contractors will be required to provide program objectives, topic outlines, and CVs at least two weeks prior to the program. They will also be expected to incorporate elements of racial equity principles into their materials and services. The department will evaluate the submissions based on experience, qualifications, references, and hourly fee. • The contract is for a master agreement, which creates a qualified list of consultants. • The department will contact vendors on the contract to negotiate a fixed price for each speaking event. • The contractor will be required to provide a summary invoice detailing the dates services were rendered, the number of hours, and the work provided. • Payment will be made through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). • The contractor will be required to obtain a Standard (Employer) Access Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check on any employees who will be entering public offices of the Commonwealth or providing services to any Hiring Entity of the Commonwealth.
