PRE QUALIFICATION OF VENDORS FOR FOOD, FRESH FROZEN, CANNED

The Palm Beach County Purchasing Department is seeking pre-qualification of vendors for food, fresh frozen, canned, bread & bakery, milk & dairy, term contract. The vendors will provide goods and services as listed in the solicitation. The pre-qualified vendors will be selected based on their ability to provide the required goods and services. The contract will be for a term, and the vendors will be required to comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. The vendors must also comply with the County's Commercial Nondiscrimination Policy and provide equal opportunity for subcontractors, subconsultants, vendors, and suppliers to participate in all of its public sector and private sector subcontracting and supply opportunities. • The vendors must provide a response to the Request for Pre-Qualification, which includes a completed Request for Pre-Qualification "Response" Form, certifications, licenses, and permits. • The vendors must also provide a copy of all applicable Certificates of Competency issued by the State of Florida or the Palm Beach County Construction Industry Licensing Board. • The vendors must maintain a current Business Tax Receipt for Palm Beach County and all permits required to complete the contractual service at no additional cost to Palm Beach County. • The vendors must comply with the Palm Beach County Local Preference Ordinance, which gives a preference to vendors having a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades. • The vendors must also comply with the Equal Business Opportunity Ordinance, which sets forth the County's requirements for the EBO Program.
