7G--Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a sole source contract to Holohil Systems Limited for the purchase of 60 radio transmitters. The transmitters are required for the Puerto Rican Parrot Recovery Program and must have a special brass housing that will not harm the parrots. The contract will be awarded under the authority of FAR subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and (ii). * The contract is for a firm fixed price. * The radio transmitters are needed for the Puerto Rican Parrot Recovery Program. * The transmitters must have a special brass housing that will not harm the parrots. * Holohil Systems Limited is the only company that provides the required transmitters.
