REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): Auctioning Services

The Department of General Services, Office of State Procurement, is seeking information from companies that can host, facilitate, and conduct Reverse Auctions. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to collect data and information pertaining to Auctioning Services. The RFI includes a sample Scope of Work, which requires the contractor to provide Reverse-Auctioning Services, complete numerous rounds of Reverse-Auctions, and provide an online auction platform. The contractor must also coordinate with the State to schedule and facilitate the Reverse-Auctions, provide the final results, and meet reporting requirements. • The RFI is not a solicitation to procure, but rather a means of conducting market research to identify capable parties. • The contract is anticipated to be for multiple years with potential renewal options. • Small Businesses, Minority Businesses, and Veteran-Owned Businesses are strongly encouraged to respond to this RFI. • The RFI includes a sample Price Bid Form, which requires the contractor to provide pricing information for conducting Reverse-Auctions.
