Automatic External Defibrillator

The Red Clay Consolidated School District is seeking a vendor to provide 45 new Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) with various features, including visual and audio prompts, pediatric capability, CPR coaching, and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. The vendor will be responsible for delivering, installing, and providing training on the new AEDs, as well as safely removing and disposing of the existing units. The contract will be awarded based on the best proposal received, considering factors such as cost, project plan, evidence of ongoing support, and mechanism for handling warranty repair/replacement. Some key requirements for the AED units include: • Visual and audio prompts • Pediatric capability without using pediatric pads • CPR coaching features • Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity • Long battery life (minimum 4 years) • 8-year or longer warranty preferred Each AED must include an adult electrode pad set, pediatric mode functionality, and a lithium battery pack. The vendor must also provide initial on-site or virtual training sessions for staff and digital training materials or access to online refresher courses.
