Towing Services

The City of Caldwell is soliciting a Request for Proposal from qualified, licensed, and experienced towing service providers to establish a list of approved firms to provide towing, recovery, and related services on an as-needed basis. These services may be required to support City operations, including but not limited to law enforcement activities, vehicle impoundment, accident recovery, emergency response, and the removal of abandoned or illegally parked vehicles within City limits. The selected proposer will be required to provide a range of services, including heavy tow capabilities, manned storefront/office capability, and secure office environment. The proposer must also demonstrate financial stability, operational capacity, and organizational commitment to enter into a successful three-year contract with the City of Caldwell. Key requirements include: * Availability and ownership of heavy-duty wreckers * Physical office location within 5 miles of the city limits * Clearly defined procedures for after-hour vehicle release, emergency contact, and customer assistance * Professional handling of the public, including dispute resolution and compliance with City policies * Secure office environment with compliance to applicable zoning, accessibility, and safety requirements * Ability to enter into a three-year contract with the City of Caldwell
