SPECIAL EDUCATION PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The State of Wyoming, Department of Education, is seeking proposals for professional development and technical assistance services to support special education programs. The selected proposer will provide high-quality training and assistance to education staff on various special education topics. The goal of the project is to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. Key requirements include: developing and delivering professional development models, providing technical assistance, and ensuring that all services are aligned with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Wyoming Department of Education requirements. • The proposer must have experience in providing professional development and technical assistance services, particularly in special education. • The proposer must demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to design and deliver effective training programs. • The proposer must be able to provide services that are accessible and usable by education staff with varying levels of expertise. • The proposer must ensure that all services are aligned with the IDEA and Wyoming Department of Education requirements.
