MPW Fitness Equipment

The City of Montrose is seeking proposals for the design, supply, and installation of fitness equipment for the new Public Works Facility. The selected candidate will run a collaborative design process, supply, and install the fitness equipment for the new Montrose Public Works fitness room. The project requires a balance of cardio equipment, weights, and strength training. The fitness equipment services shall include programming, design development, contract documentation, and administration, fitness equipment delivery and installation, submittals, and owner trainings. • The project is located in Montrose, Colorado. • The City of Montrose is developing a new public works facility at a site near the intersection of Rio Grande Avenue and East Oak Grove. • The existing facility was outdated and no longer meets the City's operational needs. • The new facility will accommodate multiple public works divisions, including streets, parks, fleet, and utilities. • The City seeks to balance functionality, safety, and aesthetics in this high-visibility area. • Construction is in progress, and there will be no site walk offered for this procurement process. • The Owner has hired or intends to hire the following professionals for the project team: Owner’s Representative, Surveyor, Architect/Engineering, CM/GC, Commissioning Agent, Geotechnical Engineer, CMT, FF&E Vendor, and Moving Company. • The selected candidate will develop CAD drawings and floor plans showing space allocation/furnishings as specified in the Scope of Work. • The selected candidate will submit brochure or actual samples for final product selection during the Design Development phase. • The selected candidate will submit copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals. • The selected candidate will train the City on use and maintenance of all installed equipment. • The project schedule includes the following milestones: RFQ/P Available, RFQ/P Questions Due, RFQ/P Clarification Addendum, RFQ/P Responses due, Candidates Notified of Selection, Contract Signed by the City, Tours of local example fitness centers, Design & Equipment Selection, Fitness Equipment Delivery & Installation.
