PROPERTY REVALUATION SERVICES - REBID

The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking a qualified appraisal firm to provide professional services for the complete revaluation of all real property within the Borough for tax equalization purposes. The selected firm will be responsible for conducting a thorough revaluation of all properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The firm will also be required to provide taxpayer orientation and review, defend appeals, and provide insurance and bonding. The contract is expected to commence on October 1, 2026, and be effective for the 2027 tax year. • The revaluation will include the inspection and valuation of all properties, including added and omitted assessments. • The selected firm will be required to provide a detailed work schedule and timeline for the project. • The firm will also be required to provide a statement of qualifications, including the experience and qualifications of the principals and supervisors assigned to the project. • The Borough is seeking a firm that can provide high-quality and cost-effective services to the taxpayers of Bergenfield.
