Decommissioning and Demolition (D&D) Contractor for the South Former Baptist Hospital Campus (CDBG-DR Area)

The City of Pensacola is seeking a qualified contractor to execute the demolition and deconstruction of multiple unsafe buildings on the southern portion of the former Baptist Hospital campus. The work includes removal of regulated hazardous materials, mitigation of environmental and public health risks, and site preparation for future redevelopment under the HUD CDBG‑DR program. Compliance with federal, state, and local procurement, labor, civil rights, Section 3, and contractor outreach requirements is mandatory. This project aims to eliminate blight, improve safety, and enable sustainable, resilient redevelopment of the site. • Remove unsafe structures and mitigate hazards (asbestos, lead, etc.) • Conduct environmentally responsible demolition and waste disposal • Prepare the site for future redevelopment while meeting all regulatory and labor standards • Support community revitalization objectives funded partially by HUD CDBG‑DR
