Description

Hennepin County is soliciting proposals for indoor television screen advertising placement at its seven service centers. The selected contractor will be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing/sales plan, selling image and motion video advertising, creating and producing advertising packages, managing and tracking location display advertising schedules, and providing Hennepin County with the advertising content to be displayed on the television screens. The contractor will also be required to comply with the county's advertising guidelines. Some key points to consider: • The service centers have over 400,000 visitors annually, with 20,000 visitors at the North Minneapolis location and 50,000-85,000 visitors at each of the remaining locations. • There are 14 television screens in total, with two screens in the lobby seating area of each service center. • The contractor will be required to provide a marketing/sales plan and materials, continuously develop and improve the product, and sell both image and video advertising for each of the seven service center locations. • The contractor will also be responsible for creating and producing all sold indoor advertising packages, managing and tracking location display advertising schedules, and providing Hennepin County with the advertising content to be displayed on the television screens.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this contract is not explicitly stated in the document. However, based on the scope of work and the fact that the contractor will be responsible for selling advertising space, it can be estimated that the budget will be in the range of $100,000 to $500,000 per year, depending on the number of advertising spaces sold and the revenue generated from each space. The actual budget will depend on the contractor's ability to sell advertising space and the revenue generated from each space. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of visitors to the service centers, the number of television screens, and the contractor's ability to sell advertising space at a premium price.
