Truck Rental District-Wide

The Brownsville Independent School District (BISD) is seeking qualified vendors to become pre‑qualified providers of a full range of truck and trailer rentals to support the district’s UIL programs and other district‑wide needs. Vendors must supply late‑model, gasoline or diesel trucks with automatic transmissions, air‑conditioning, heating, walk‑ramps, and comprehensive collision/comprehension insurance. The fleet must include multiple box‑truck sizes (10’, 15’, 20’, 26’) and a variety of cargo and utility trailers (4’‑6’ widths, 8’‑12’ lengths, some with ramps). All rentals are to be billed to BISD via purchase orders, with the district’s liability insurance covering the vehicles; vendors must provide replacement vehicles during maintenance at no extra cost. Pricing must include daily, hourly, and mileage rates, and a cancellation policy (fees for <48‑hour and >48‑hour notice).
