Intent to Sole Source for Atmospheric Chemistry Research Services

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to South Dakota State University (SDSU) for atmospheric chemistry research services. The research will be performed in Brookings, South Dakota, and the period of performance is from 09/01/2026 to 08/31/2027. SDSU is the only vendor that specializes in atmospheric chemistry research using RAVE and GBBEPX codebase algorithms, and they have developed and maintained these products for over a decade.
