Intent to Sole Source - Parachute Packer Support

The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC)-Fort Knox intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract to Packing With Liz for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Parachute Packing (Rigger Support) services. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the services for the USAPT’s Tandem and Competition Teams. The services include packing state-of-the-art ram-air parachutes to exacting standards, often on short notice and subject to frequent changes. • The period of performance is for a base year with four one-year option periods, anticipated to begin on or about 1 June 2026. • Performance is required at Laurinburg, NC, Homestead ARB, FL, and approximately 25 other offsite CONUS locations, necessitating significant travel and flexibility. • The contractor must have FAA Senior or Master Parachute Rigger certification, extensive experience with specialized military tandem and ram-air systems, and a proven ability to meet a high-volume, high-tempo packing schedule.
