RFQu 20242020 Grant-related Consulting Services Qualified Pool

The City of Eugene is seeking to establish a pool of qualified consultants to provide grant-related consulting services on a contractual and/or as-needed basis. The services may include grant research, writing, reporting, and administration associated with the submission of Federal, State, private, or other funding proposals and opportunities. The City will review the qualifications of the providers within the pool when a need arises, and if an appropriate provider is available, the City may enter into a contract with that provider. The contract may include a wide range of potential grant and planning services, such as grant funding priority assessment, grant research, grant development/preparation, grant administration, management, and reporting. • The contractor will be expected to provide grant research, writing, reporting, and administration services. • The contractor will be expected to work with City staff to assess funding priority areas and help identify new priority areas for funding. • The contractor will be expected to undertake research to identify grant resources, including Federal, State, agencies, and organizations aligned with the City's funding needs and priorities. • The contractor will be expected to assist the City with preparation of applications for Federal, State, or private foundations. • The contractor will be expected to assist the City with grant implementation planning, including monitoring City compliance with general and specific grant requirements. The City is interested in products and services that have a reduced impact on human health and the environment and that more fully support communities and economies when compared to competing products and services serving the same purpose.
