Dosimeter Calibration Services

The Adjutant General's Department, on behalf of the Kansas Department of Emergency Management (KDEM), is seeking competitive bid proposals from qualified vendors to provide calibration services for dosimeters. The purpose of this is to maintain operational readiness for radiological or nuclear incident response. The selected bidder will be responsible for calibrating dosimeters to manufacturer and industry standards, providing detailed calibration certificates, and ensuring all dosimeters are securely packaged and returned at the contractor's expense. Key requirements include: calibration of ArrowTech Model 138 and Model 725 dosimeters, compliance with ANSI N13.5 and N322 standards, and provision of calibration labels or tags. • The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option for annual calibration services. • The selected bidder will be required to provide a detailed proposal, including company profile, technical approach, timeline, pricing, and references. • The bidder will be responsible for all return shipping costs, unless KDEM decides to use its FEDEX account. • The contract will be subject to Kansas law and venue, and any disputes will be resolved through arbitration.
