6530--FY 26: Centrella Beds for Point of Care NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE-SOURCE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 intends to negotiate a sole source contract for Centrella Beds for Point of Care. The identified vendor is Baxter/Hill-ROM, which is the sole service provider for FY26 Centrella Beds Point of Care for Puerto Rico. The Centrella bed has passed entrapment risk tests performed by the Safe Patient Handling and Movement Program Manager. A commodities contract with 150 days after receipt of order (ARO) delivery is anticipated. • The contract is for Centrella Beds for Point of Care. • The identified vendor is Baxter/Hill-ROM. • The contract has a 150-day delivery period after receipt of order. • The contract is a sole source contract under the authority of FAR part 8.405-6 (1)(B).
