Sources Sought Kingfisher Radio Alarm Transmitter

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is conducting a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide a fire alarm radio transmitter with equal performance requirements as the Kingfisher radio alarm transmitter. The required transmitter should have the following characteristics: it should be listed or approved by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognized by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to operate as a system with the existing Base receiving equipment, and it should utilize narrowband radio communication meeting the requirements of national Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Frequency Management. • The transmitter should be compatible with the existing Kingfisher Company KFRA-C Emergency Alarm Receiver. • The transmitter should meet the requirements of national Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Frequency Management. • The transmitter should be listed or approved by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognized by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
