The City of Des Moines, Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide event management and concessionaire services at the Simon Estes Riverfront Amphitheater. The selected proposer will have the exclusive right to provide liquor and non-alcoholic beverage sales and food service operations at the amphitheater during the contractual period. The contract requirements include producing and staging a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 concerts, including ticket sales, liquor and non-alcoholic beverage sales, and food service operations. The initial contract period will be from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2028. Some key responsibilities of the selected proposer include: * Furnishing all necessary labor, licenses, permits, supplies, and equipment for the use and administration of services and sales * Providing a sufficient number of persons to adequately supervise and maintain the amphitheater area in a clean and safe manner during events/functions * Furnishing all equipment, supplies, and materials for their food, beverage, and/or liquor sales and being responsible for cleaning and overall sanitation of their workstations * Management, staffing, and financing of events * Custodial care of the grounds and contiguous areas during and after all selected proposer uses and private rentals.
