RFQ Design Engineering Services - Essex Complex

The Town of Essex is seeking a qualified engineering firm to design public infrastructure at 80-90 Upper Main Street. The selected consultant will complete all tasks associated with design and permitting of public roadway, pedestrian, and utility infrastructure. The firm will be expected to participate in public outreach efforts and complete the work by June 30, 2028. The scope of work includes performing a LiDAR topographic survey, geotechnical engineering tasks, identifying necessary permits, completing archaeological and soil investigations, performing a traffic study, and preparing project presentation materials. • Perform LiDAR topographic survey and detailed topographic survey • Complete geotechnical engineering tasks • Identify necessary local, state, and federal permits • Complete archaeological and soil investigations • Perform a traffic study • Prepare project presentation materials • Lead monthly project management meetings • Support the communications team in their work
