Auditor of State RFP 2025 - 3a

The Office of Auditor of State is seeking proposals for audit services relating to City Periodic Examinations for the 12 months ended March 31, 2025. The selected firm will be required to perform examinations in accordance with attestation standards for agreed-upon procedures engagements issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Government Auditing Standards. The firm will be expected to provide a list of estimated hours by classification, agree not to contact the cities subject to examination prior to two weeks before the start of each examination, and perform all work in accordance with the agreed-upon procedures program guide prepared by the Office of Auditor of State. • The proposal should include a letter of transmittal, table of contents, profile of the firm, qualifications, scope of services and proposed schedule, and fees and compensation. • The evaluation criteria will be based on cost and qualifications, including recent experience in similar types of engagements, qualifications of the engagement team, and understanding of the work and timetable to complete the examinations. • The contract will be awarded by June 30, 2025, and the firm will be required to submit one invoice for services detailing the hours by staff classification for each examination report. • The total reimbursement shall not exceed the agreed-upon amount, except as specifically agreed by the Auditor of State and the CPA.
