Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems Maintenance and Testing Invitation For Bids

The Rhode Island Convention Center Authority is seeking bids from qualified firms to test, inspect, and maintain the fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems at the Rhode Island Convention Center, North and South Garages, and the Amica Mutual Pavilion. The successful bidder will be required to perform quarterly testing of the fire alarm and sprinkler systems, as well as annual inspections and testing of the systems. The bidder must also provide a report after each inspection and testing, and must be able to respond to emergency calls within four hours. The contract will be for a term of three years, with two one-year renewal options. • The scope of work includes fire alarm maintenance and testing, sprinkler system services, and testing of portable fire extinguishers. • The bidder must demonstrate experience in providing similar services and must have a local service department within a 50-mile radius of the complex. • The bidder must also provide proof of insurance and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
