The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking expressions of interest for leasing 16,955 square feet of medical office space in Macomb, Michigan. The lease term is up to 20 years, and the space must be located within a delineated area. The Department is looking for capable sources that can provide a fully serviced lease, including design and construction of the facility, as well as maintenance and operation requirements. • The space must be located on a single floor within one building, on the ground level or first floor. • The space must be zoned for the VA's intended use and must not be located in close proximity to properties with incompatible uses. • The space must be easily accessible to multiple major roadways and have a subway, light rail, or bus stop within a safely accessible distance. • The VA will consider space located in an existing building or a building being constructed for multi-tenant use. • A fully serviced lease is required, and the VA makes monthly rental payments in arrears upon facility acceptance.
