66--RFI for Distillation Instrument

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking information about American-made distillation instruments that can perform distillation in accordance with ASTM D86 Standard Test Method for Distillation of Petroleum Products at Atmospheric Pressure Groups 1-4. The instrument must meet specific requirements, including interface with the PAC IRIS software, a self-positioning heating system, and a condenser system with a programmable temperature range. • The distillation instrument must meet the specified requirements, including distillation rate, receiving chamber temperature range, and automatic fire detection. • The instrument should be compatible with 100 mL and 200 mL flasks and have a barcode reader for automatic detection of flask size, composition, and serial number. • The EPA is looking for an instrument that meets or exceeds the specified requirements and is made in America. • Responses to this RFI are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. • The Government will not pay any costs incurred in response to this RFI, and all costs associated with responding will be at the responding party's expense.
