CMPD Alarm Registration and Management Services

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive management of the city’s Alarm Ordinance Program. The contractor will be responsible for registering non‑fire alarm systems, issuing permits, ensuring compliance with ordinance requirements, and collecting fines associated with excessive false alarms. This multi‑year engagement requires a partner with expertise in regulatory compliance, public‑sector contract administration, and security‑related services. • Manage registration and permitting for all non‑fire alarm systems city‑wide. • Monitor compliance and enforce ordinance provisions, including fine collection for false alarms. • Provide ongoing administrative support and reporting to the police department. • Maintain required insurance coverages (auto, E&O, general liability, network security, workers comp). • Operate under a multi‑year contract with an anticipated total value between $1 M and $5 M.
