IFB 30-26064 Optometrist Services - Sourcing Event

The Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) is seeking a licensed optometrist to provide on-site optometry services at several state-operated healthcare facilities in North Carolina. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew. The optometrist will be required to provide examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment in the field of optometry. The selected vendor will be expected to provide services at the following facilities: Murdoch Developmental Center, Central Regional Hospital, Cherry Hospital, and Broughton Hospital. • The contract term is for three years, beginning on October 1, 2026. • The optometrist will be required to provide on-site clinics at each facility, with the frequency and duration of the clinics varying by facility. • The vendor will be required to provide professional liability insurance and to certify that they have not been excluded from participation in the Medicare or Medicaid programs. • The vendor will be reimbursed at a rate indicated on the pricing form for the services rendered. • The contract includes provisions for transition assistance, dispute resolution, and contract changes.
