Annual Sidewalk and Concrete Maintenance Project

The City of Ontario is seeking qualified contractors to perform a multi‑year, city‑wide sidewalk and concrete maintenance program. The scope includes placement, removal, and replacement of Portland‑Cement‑Concrete (PCC) sidewalks, curbs, gutters, residential and commercial drive‑approach pavements, accessible curb‑ramps with detectable warning surfaces, and utility adjustments, all performed in accordance with the City’s standard specifications. Bidders must submit a complete electronic bid package with required bonds, insurance, and certifications, and comply with prevailing‑wage and environmental regulations. • Replace and repair PCC sidewalks, curbs, and gutters across the city’s public right‑of‑way. • Construct new residential and commercial drive‑approach pavements and accessible curb‑ramps with detectable warning surfaces. • Adjust utility appurtenances, re‑establish survey monuments, and perform all ancillary work (traffic control, grading, compaction, etc.) per City standards. • Provide required bid bond (10 % of bid), performance and payment bonds (100 % of award), and maintain compliance with CARB, DIR, and prevailing‑wage requirements. • Contract term of three years with two one‑year optional extensions, NTE value $500,000, with a 90‑day bid validity period.
