R614--New Document Shredding Contract Expedited Response Requested POP: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2031

The Oklahoma City VA Health Care System is seeking a contractor to provide on-site document destruction services. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and shredding confidential documents, including patient records and other sensitive information. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option to extend for an additional 6 months. The contractor will be required to provide secure lockable containers for the collection of materials to be shredded and to perform shredding services on a regular schedule. The contractor will also be required to provide a certification of destruction for all materials shredded. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding the destruction of sensitive information. • The contractor must provide liability insurance to cover any damages or losses that may occur during the performance of the contract. • The contractor must ensure that all employees who will be working on the contract have the necessary security clearances and background checks. • The contractor must provide a project manager to oversee the performance of the contract. • The contractor must provide a plan for emergency situations, such as equipment failure or unexpected events.
