SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase Verathon Inc Surgical Disposable Scopes and Related Products from a contractawarded by Premier pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchases of commodities from a consortium orcomparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price.
