Investment Advisory Services

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified Investment Consultant to provide investment advisory services to the City Treasurer. The consultant will assist in guiding prudent investment decisions for the City's investment portfolio, which is currently valued at $1.5 billion. The scope of services includes analysis, advice, and recommendations on investment options, strategies, and market conditions. The consultant will also provide monthly and quarterly reporting of the entire investment portfolio and monitor portfolio compliance with Ohio Revised Code and the City's Investment Policy. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting an initial review and analysis of the investment portfolio and recommending changes if appropriate • Providing investment recommendations to the City Treasurer as requested • Coordinating with custodians, fund managers, and other service providers • Monitoring portfolio for compliance with ORC and Investment policy • Assisting in establishing qualitative and quantitative selection criteria for reviewing potential investment managers • Maintaining or having access to a database of investment managers • Providing ongoing manager monitoring, including performance reviews, compliance checks, and organizational updates
