Financial Audit

The State of Wyoming, Wyoming Beef Council is seeking a qualified proposer to perform a financial audit of the Agency's cash-basis financial records for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, according to Government Auditing Standards. The successful proposer will provide a written final report and present audit findings and results by conference call or in person to the members of the Wyoming Beef Council upon completion of the audit. The initial contract period will commence when the contract is signed by all parties, with a completion date of October 31, 2025, and may be extended for three additional biennia upon mutual agreement. Key aspects of the job include: • Conducting a financial audit of the Agency's cash-basis financial records for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 • Providing a written final report and presenting audit findings and results to the Wyoming Beef Council • Ensuring compliance with Government Auditing Standards and the Beef Promotion and Research Order • Meeting the needs of the RFP and indicating a thorough understanding of the scope of work • Providing a work plan, project management plan, and staffing and project organization information • Ensuring sufficient resources and knowledgeable, experienced staff are available to meet any project schedule
