Description
The State of California’s Department of General Services is seeking qualified firms to provide mechanical‑engineering services on a statewide retainer basis. Selected firms will be retained for up to five years and may receive multiple task orders across all California counties, with a total ceiling of $5 million per geographic region. Work will be on an as‑needed basis, covering design, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation, sustainability analyses, construction support, and related engineering disciplines, all under a California‑licensed responsible party.
• Scope includes design, planning, and construction support for new construction, additions, renovations, and remodels across all 58 California counties.
• Contracts are fixed‑rate, multi‑year retainer agreements (up to 5 years) with a $5 M ceiling per region; rates are negotiated after award.
• Firms must be licensed in California, comply with prevailing‑wage, DIR registration, civil‑rights, Darfur, DVBE, and other statutory certifications, and submit a full Statement of Qualifications by 13 Nov 2026.
