Fleet Maintenance Cargo Vans (2)

The City of Rapid City is seeking bids for the purchase of two new cargo vans for the Rapid City Maintenance Division. The vans must meet specific requirements, including a 3.6L V6 24V gasoline engine, automatic 9-speed transmission, and a Class 2 rated chassis with a 8,900lbs GVWR. The vans will be used for maintenance purposes and must be equipped with approved lights and safety equipment. The city reserves the right to reject all bids and award the contract to the bidder that best serves the interests of the city. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. • The bidder must provide a warranty for the vans. • The bidder must deliver the vans within 30 days of the contract award. • The bidder must provide operator's manuals and instructions for the proper operation and maintenance of the vans. • The bidder must include an allowance for outfitting each vehicle with shelving, racks, partitions, and/or tool storage systems. • The bidder must coordinate outfitting with city staff after award to ensure accessories meet operational needs and do not void manufacturer warranty.
