Budget Estimate (AI):

$250,000 – $350,000

The budget for this opportunity can be estimated based on the quantities of chemicals required. The City is estimating an annual usage of 75 full one-ton containers of chlorine and 75 full one-ton containers of sulfur dioxide. The cost of these chemicals can vary depending on market prices, but a rough estimate can be made. Assuming an average cost of $500 per ton for chlorine and $300 per ton for sulfur dioxide, the total annual cost would be approximately $52,500 for chlorine and $22,500 for sulfur dioxide, totaling $75,000 per year. For a four-year contract, the total budget would be approximately $300,000.
