The State of Iowa is seeking an Event Coordinator to assist in developing and coordinating the America's Harvest event to celebrate America's 250th Birthday. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating event planning with internal and external stakeholders, supporting program leads, and convening and delegating key programs through agencies. The contract term will begin on the date of contract execution and end on December 31, 2026. Some key responsibilities of the Event Coordinator include: • Coordinating event planning with internal and external stakeholders • Supporting program leads • Convening and delegating key programs through agencies • Recruiting and booking event vendors and performers • Selecting and coordinating rental and stage equipment • Coordinating donor interactions and earmarked donations • Working with musicians and coordinating sanitation, health, and safety for all aspects of the event • Consulting with the Agency on social media strategies and advertising of the event
