Alaska National Cemeteries Grounds Maintenance

The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration is conducting market research to identify qualified firms that can provide comprehensive grounds‑maintenance and related cemetery services at Fort Richardson and Sitka National Cemeteries in Alaska. This is a non‑binding sources‑sought notice; no proposals or pricing are required at this stage. Respondents will submit company, size, socioeconomic status, capability summaries, and subcontracting plans for consideration in future solicitations. • Services include interment/disinterment, headstone placement, turf, tree, shrub, and bed care, drainage, trash removal, pavement cleaning, snow/ice removal, structure cleaning, ceremony assistance, and location‑specific tasks such as irrigation, pond, and artificial‑turf maintenance. • Work will be performed under a 12‑month base contract with up to four additional 12‑month option periods. • Both cemeteries may be supported by a single contractor or separate contractors; firms may indicate which locations they can serve. • Required response items: legal name, SAM registration details, SBA socioeconomic classifications, capability narrative, subcontracting estimates, and prime‑contractor performance percentages.
