High Service Pump Station Pipe Repair and Recoating

The City of Ames is seeking bids from qualified companies to perform pipe repairs at the Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump Station. The work includes removing failing coatings, applying new coatings, and removing damaged hardware and replacing it with corrosion-resistant hardware. The bid must include a proposed work plan, material specifications, and other required attachments. • The City of Ames is exempt from certain taxes, including State of Iowa Sales and Use Taxes and Manufacturer’s Federal Excise Tax. • The selected company will be required to provide a performance and payment bond if the accepted bid is over $25,000. • The bid must be submitted before the deadline, and no late responses will be reviewed. • The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids and enter into a contract that is in the best interest of the City.
