26FQ14, Dependent Eligibility Audit

The Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) is seeking a vendor to provide a Dependent Eligibility Verification Audit for spouses and eligible children enrolled in the medical and dental plans for FCPS' employees and retirees. The goal of this project is to eliminate inappropriate spending on ineligible dependents and use the resulting information to make future financial decisions. The vendor will assist FCPS in meeting fiduciary duties under ERISA or relevant regulations, including the IRS. • The audit will cover spouses and eligible children enrolled in the medical and dental plans • The vendor will provide a report detailing the findings of the audit • The vendor will assist FCPS in making future financial decisions based on the results of the audit • The vendor must have experience in conducting dependent eligibility verification audits • The vendor must be able to provide a SOC 2 Type II report (or equivalent)
