REPLACEMENT OF ROADSIDE RADIOS

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking bids for the replacement of roadside radios. The project involves replacing existing Ubiquiti radios with Mikrotik radios for roadside devices, removing and installing new access points and subscriber modules, and replacing Ethernet surge protectors. The contractor will be responsible for providing traffic control, ensuring all installations are uniform, and complying with WYDOT standards and regulations. The project consists of approximately 180 locations across I-80 in WYDOT District 1, with a few locations north of I-80 along US 30, and other highways. • Replace existing radios with new ones • Install new access points and subscriber modules • Replace Ethernet surge protectors • Provide traffic control • Ensure all installations are uniform • Comply with WYDOT standards and regulations • Complete the project by July 31, 2027
