Freightliner and Western Star Parts

The City of Raleigh is seeking bids for the purchase of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket replacement parts for Freightliner and Western Star vehicles. The contract will be based on a percentage discount from a verifiable manufacturer or distributor catalog or published price list. The initial contract term will be for one year with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms. The City reserves the right to purchase parts from any awarded contractor on an as-needed, non-exclusive basis. • The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to supply replacement parts for the City’s fleet of Freightliner and Western Star vehicles. • Parts shall include, but are not limited to, engine components, braking systems, electrical systems, lighting, filters, suspension, transmission, and associated accessories. • The City’s current fleet includes 152 Freightliner and 7 Western Star vehicles. • Pricing shall be based on a percentage discount applied to a verifiable, published manufacturer or distributor catalog or price list.
