Description
The San Gabriel Unified School District is seeking a contractor to completely upgrade the northwest play field at McKinley Elementary School. The work includes selective demolition of existing paving and structures, full site grading and soil amendment, installation of a new turf field with irrigation, planting of trees and shrubs, and construction of new concrete and asphalt hard‑scape elements. A 90‑day post‑construction maintenance period and a one‑year warranty on the sprinkler system are required.
• Demolition of existing turf, pavement, bleachers, fence, and related site components.
• Grading, hydro‑mulch application, and installation of a Sportsturf Supreme turf system with full irrigation.
• Installation of PVC‑based sprinkler/irrigation system (valves, controllers, backflow preventer) and associated underground utilities.
• New concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and asphaltic concrete paving with joint‑sealant and expansion‑joint detailing.
• Planting of new trees, shrubs, and turf, followed by a 90‑day maintenance and vegetation health warranty.
