BGS Statewide UPS System Preventative Maintenance and Service

The State of Vermont’s Department of Buildings and General Services is seeking a qualified contractor to provide preventive maintenance and repair services for all statewide UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems. The work includes annual inspections of UPS hardware, battery testing and replacement, electrical measurements, cleaning, filter changes, and reporting. The contractor must respond to emergency calls within four hours, provide 24/7 coverage, and adhere to strict material markup limits and certification requirements. • Perform a full set of electrical and battery inspections at each UPS location once per year (or more as directed). • Provide emergency response (≤ 4 hours) and off‑hour labor as needed; bill on hourly rates. • Supply OEM parts, maintain documentation, and meet worker‑classification, climate‑change, and Ukrainian‑solidarity certifications.
