U9 FGD/BATW ZERO LIQUID DISCHARGE PROJECT

The City of Muscatine’s Power and Water department is seeking sealed bids for the design, fabrication, supply, testing, delivery, and documentation of six slurry pump packages (two each of Maintenance Area Sump Pumps, Return Water Pumps, and Maintenance Transfer Pumps) and associated motors for its U9 FGD/BATW Zero Liquid Discharge Project. The work includes engineering design, procurement of pumps and motors from approved manufacturers, factory testing, and delivery to the project site with anticipated equipment delivery between December 1 2027 and February 2 2028. Bids must be submitted electronically via Ion Wave by 3:00 PM CT on October 22 2026; questions are due by October 17 2026. The bid opening will be broadcast online via Microsoft Teams. • Scope: Design, fabricate, supply, test, and deliver six slurry pumps and six motors. • Manufacturers: Pumps – Flowserve, KSB GIW, Summit, Shurco, Metso (or equivalents).
