Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) Replacements (5% SBE Goal)

The Regional Transportation District is seeking a contractor to replace existing Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) with new ones. The contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of 185 existing TVMs and providing 173 new TVMs, including 113 at existing locations, 54 along the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit corridor, 1 at Civic Center Station, and 5 spare TVMs. The contractor will also have the option to purchase 6 additional TVMs for the Denver Union Station Bus Concourse. The contract will be for a period of 18 months, with the possibility of up to 8 one-year extensions. The contractor must meet a 5% Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goal. • The contractor must provide a detailed technical proposal, including information about their experience, qualifications, and approach to the project. • The contractor must also provide a cost proposal, including pricing for the base term and option years. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to SBE participation and Buy America requirements. • The contractor must provide a certification regarding lobbying and a certification regarding federal tax liability and recent felony conviction. • The contractor must also provide a Buy America certification and a certification regarding certain telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment.
