Coordinating Center for the Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Centers (OAICs)

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) will issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for a Coordinating Center (CC) to manage the Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Centers (OAIC) network. The CC will act as the hub for communication among OAIC sites, translate research findings for scientific and public audiences, and provide overall program coordination. Applicants must demonstrate strong multi‑site coordination experience and expertise in geriatrics research. This is a forecast; the NOFO is expected to be released in early 2027 with an application deadline around May 2027 and an award date in April 2028.
