RFP 134: Project AWARE: Youth Suicide Prevention Awareness Training, Consultation, and Implementation Support Services

The State of Vermont is seeking bids to provide youth suicide prevention awareness training, consultation, and implementation support services to three Local Education Agencies (LEAs) involved in Vermont Project AWARE. The selected bidder will be expected to deliver evidence-based training, provide technical assistance, and support the development of suicide prevention protocols and policies. The contract will be for a period of up to 2 years and 9 months, starting in January 2026. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering suicide prevention awareness and skills training to school personnel and community members • Providing consultation and implementation support services to improve suicide prevention protocols and policies • Coordinating outreach and collaboration with other AWARE training partners • Providing training of trainers for sustainability of suicide prevention awareness and skills training • Submitting performance measure data and evaluation results to the State contracted Evaluator
