Cornerstone Hall, Keystone House, Innovation House HVAC System Refurbishments - Advanced Planning

One-Two SentencesAdvance planning and subsequent capital improvements willevaluate and implement renewal of aging HVAC and supportinginfrastructure serving Cornerstone Hall, Keystone House,Innovation House, and the associated Tri-House energy plant.Existing systems are approaching or have exceeded theiranticipated useful life. The project is anticipated toinclude replacement or refurbishment of air-handling units,controls, heating and chilled-water components, distributionsystems, and related electrical, plumbing,building-envelope, and supporting work as required. Theproject is intended to improve reliability and energyperformance, reduce maintenance demands and risk ofunplanned failures, maintain safe and comfortableresidential environments, and extend the useful life ofthese University housing assets.Current project authorization is for Advanced Planning only.The selected firm may be retained through full design andconstruction at the University's option.
