Description

Washington State Parks is seeking qualified firms to establish a statewide roster of licensed or certified general real‑estate appraisers for on‑call use on a variety of property‑valuation tasks. The contract will be awarded on a multiple‑award, convenience‑use basis and will cover fee‑simple acquisitions, lease and transfer valuations, easement and right‑of‑way appraisals, timber valuations, and both field and desk reviews. The work is performed project‑by‑project under task orders for an initial 24‑month term with up‑to‑three one‑year extensions. Small‑business and veteran‑owned firms receive award priority. • Services include acquisition appraisals (complex and non‑complex), lease/transfer valuations, easement and right‑of‑way appraisals, timber appraisal, and review work. • Applicants must provide a not‑to‑exceed rate schedule (Appendix C) and a work plan example for one valuation type; pricing is used only for administrative purposes. • The solicitation is open to any Washington‑licensed general appraisers; foresters without an appraisal license may also submit, and a wide range of specialty areas (forest, conservation, urban, etc.) are encouraged.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $150,000

The solicitation notes that the total contract sales are anticipated to be below $150,000, with each award expected to stay under that ceiling. Assuming a typical workload for a 24‑month roster, a firm could earn roughly $100,000 to $150,000 over the base period, depending on the number of task orders and the rates submitted. Factors influencing the final amount include the volume of appraisal assignments, the mix of complex versus non‑complex projects, and any optional extensions.
