Description
Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking a single vendor to supply, deliver, construct and install a complete 20,172‑bushel grain storage system at its McGregor Research Center. The turnkey scope includes a concrete foundation, metal bin, aeration fan, unloading equipment, sweep, reclaim auger, overhead transfer system, ladders, platforms and safety devices, with all installation performed by the vendor except final electrical power service, which will be provided by the Agency’s separate licensed electrician. The bidder must provide unit‑price pricing, warranty details, delivery schedule, insurance certificates, and, if the contract exceeds $100 k, a VetHUB subcontracting plan. Evaluation will be based on best‑value criteria, considering price, quality, reputation, warranty, and delivery time.
• Provide a 20,172‑bushel metal grain bin (≈27 ft diameter, 48 ft peak height) with concrete foundation (29 ft dia., 2 ft high).
• Supply and install aeration fan, unload system, sweep paddle, reclaim auger and overhead transfer equipment, plus all required ladders, handrails and safety gear.
• Deliver all equipment ready for use; the Agency supplies only electrical power connections and will handle utility work.
• Submit unit‑price bid, warranty, delivery timeline, insurance, and (if > $100 k) a VetHUB subcontracting plan; attend optional pre‑bid webinar on July 16, 2026.
