RFP for Stump Grinding

The City of West Fargo Public Works Department is seeking quotes for stump grinding operations. The project involves removing tree stumps within designated municipal areas to improve public safety, aesthetics, and land usability. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the stump grinding and site restoration. The estimated start date is on or around August 1st, 2026, and the projected completion date is October 31st, 2026. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance, Certificate of Workers Compensation coverage, and verification of current ND Contractors License. • The contractor will be responsible for protecting all public and private property adjacent to the work site and along all hauling routes. • The contractor must carry appropriate liability insurance coverage, including Public Liability Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 per person, $500,000 per accident, and property damage in the amount of $300,000 per accident. • The contractor will be paid based on a per stump removal rate and completion.
